IAS support people with learning disabilities and Autism to live high quality lives in their own homes.
We are keen to ensure that people are forming friendships as well as taking part and joining in community life. Lots of people choose to live independently but need to some support and we consider the needs of each person and provide a range of support that helps people to remain independent.
We have a team of trained staff who work with each person, so they develop the relationship and knowledge to best work alongside them
We also provide care and support to individual people who present challenges, we do this by working and implementing personal centred positive behaviour support plans and strategies .
This helps us promote positive behaviour support and reduce problematic behaviour.
We have our own dedicated fully qualified trainers in the ARC model (assess – respond – care ) intervention training alongside, applied behaviour analysis and Autism training , who all have input to individual risk management/support plans. Through this process this allows us to support and plan for individual people in the least restrictive manner and best interest and help to promote independent living, and access to their local community.
